When Tyler and the team opened the doors at Smash & Splatter for the very first time on April 4th, we knew we were ready. What we did not expect was just how ready you were. From the moment we welcomed our first guests into the Smash Room and the Splatter Room, the energy in this building was something none of us will ever forget. Sessions in the Smash Room filled up fast. The Splatter Room had guests creating some seriously impressive canvases. The party space was alive with groups celebrating everything from birthdays to just a great excuse to get out and do something different on a Friday night.What stood out most was the variety of people who came through. We’ve been busy. Really busy. Smash & Splatter is brand new to Lloydminster and we’re in the final stretch of getting our space ready — and we wanted to pull back the curtain and show you what’s been happening behind the scenes. The transformation from an empty industrial bay into a full-blown entertainment destination has been an incredible process to be part of, and honestly? It’s looking even better than we imagined. Building Something Lloydminster Has Never Seen The heart of the build is our Smash Room — a specially engineered space built for exactly what it sounds like. Reinforced framing, heavy-duty plywood walls, and full safety gear for every guest. When you step inside, you’ll have bats, crowbars, and a room full of smashable items waiting for you. Dishes, glassware, electronics — all fair game. One of our favourite features so far: the large observation windows we’ve installed so spectators can watch the action safely from outside the room. Whether it’s your friends losing their minds cheering you on or someone capturing the moment on video, those windows are going to make for some great memories. The Splatter Room Is Coming Right alongside the Smash Room, we’re putting the finishing touches on our Splatter Room — a completely different kind of experience. This one is all color and creativity.
